New Product Showcase

Showcasing innovative products introduced to the Pet Industry since July 2017

Location assignments are via a lottery selection.  All entries must be submitted by Booth Staff Leaders by 5:00pm Pacific Time, May 24, 2018* or until all spaces are filled, to be entered in the New Product Showcase through SuperZoo Exhibitor Registration website only.

By default, company item entries will be placed side by side per category and space type (Cat, Dog, Bird, etc. and Table Top, Floor, etc.).

When Registering and selecting the “Category” choose the location you wish your product or display to be judged within.  WPA reserves the right to reassign any entries as deemed appropriate per category.

If you do not purchase the necessary amount of space for your display and it is shown to not fit the requirements when you arrive at the show, you will be required to reduce your display or forfeit your original space or purchase additional space and will be assigned the next available space to place your item; if space is available.

Item Check In:  You must bring your product to the NPS between 10am and 4pm on Monday, June 25.  If you arrive after this time, you may forfeit your original assigned space and be reassigned only if space is available or completely forfeit from NPS area if there is no space available. No refunds will be granted. After 4:30pm the area will be open for onsite entries to sign up (based on space availability).   Exhibitors will receive a Product Placement ID Card that will be placed with each item entry.  Placement ID Card will contain Product Name, Company Name and Booth Number.

If your item does not fit within the required space, you must purchase additional space to accommodate your product.

RESTRICTIONS/RULES – The following are NOT allowed in the NPS area:

“Samples/Giveaways”  ▪  Stacks of cards, brochures, flyers, etc.  ▪  Double-sided printed display backboards  ▪  NO conducting of business in the NPS area; product placement only   ▪  Once item is placed, it may not be moved, exchanged or removed from NPS area.

Additional Rules: Items may be photographed and touched by attendees while on display, if you do not want items to be moved please secure them to your table top/floor area  ▪  Any Displays with display hooks must have a hook lock.  ▪  A Product brochure/flyer may be placed but must be affixed to display, taped or in acrylic holder  ▪  Exhibitors may straighten up display, turn on/off monitors before & after show hours only.

 

Products Voting, Awards & Pick Up:

Voting:

Takes place all day on Tuesday, June 26. 

All entries are grouped and tallied by categories listed above for attendee voting of New Product Awards regardless of table-top, floor display, gondola or glass tower. Scanners are handed out to attendees at entrance.  Exhibitors are not allowed to vote.

 Awards: 

Will be presented on Wednesday, June 27 at 3:30pm inside the New Product Showcase area.

 Winners will receive:

  • Rosettes
  • Trophies
  • Signage in NPS
  • Press release to trade and consumer publications
  • Email with digital artwork for personal advertisement use (Post show)

Pick Up:

  • NPS will close Thursday, June 28 at 2:30pm.
  • Products will be available for pick up Thursday at 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
  • Must have Exhibitor Badge to enter and item/Placement ID Card must match company.
  • EAC’s picking up items will need to have a work order with the corresponding company name.
  • Items left after 5:00pm on Thursday will be donated to a local Shelter.
